When we brought Winnie home, we decided that although we couldn’t personally provide loving homes for the children we had to leave behind, we wanted to do something.
Our charity, Blue Bear Family Foundation provides grants to families or individuals who are adopting children with extra needs from Hague Convention signature countries.
International adoption is incredibly expensive, and extra costs for travel and in country accommodation can put many families off something that will change their lives forever.
We fundraise in many different ways, including through my book sales, our dolls house business and our personal donations.
